Join the repair revolution! 🛠🧵

Students and staff from the university of canturbury are invited to bring along their broken items. Repair cafe is held each term in Te Rua Makerspace.

Drop in with your items during the event. Volunteers will be able to help you perform repairs such as:

Darning, sewing and patching, general clothing and textile repair, jewellery repair, shoe repair including glue, stitching, sole fixing, eyelet repair and replacement, industrial sewing for more heavy duty items, like canvas or bag repair, leather stitching and leather hole punching, eye-glasses repair, iron on patching for clothing like denim and waterproof/puffa jackets.

No electronic repairs (sorry). Item not on the list? Bring it along and we'll see what we can do! If we can't help you, we can point you in the right direction of somewhere who can. If you have repair skills and would like to volunteer, please email: Jessica.saul@canterbury.ac.nz
