You'll learn how to patch a hole, re-stitch a seam, hem your pants, or sew up old teddy with the guidance of our master seamstress Sandy on one of our sewing machines. Alternatively, we can guide you through hand sewing repairs or if you don't have an item to fix, we'll have a simple project for you to get to work on if that is more your style. At Waiuku Zero Waste, we love repair, and the best way to keep textiles out of landfill is proper care and mending to keep them looking their best!
